Implementation  for improvement of English as a language

 

i) Teach your students important grammatical rules that will help him in speaking and writing.

ii) Provide daily 2-3 words to enhance vocabulary particularly in English class. Maintain a vocabulary notebook.

iii) use only English language as a medium of conversation. While delivering lecture in class, a teacher can use Urdu language for better understanding.

iv) help & instruct your students to write on different topics. Make writing a habitual act.

v) Improve your pronunciation. Teachers can improve their pronunciation by listening to British accent. There are different sources on internet and on tv through which we can improve our pronunciation. News channels like bbc world and alzajeera etc are the convenient source to learn pronunciation and improve listening skills.

vi) organize discussion and debates in your class on different topics (in context of your syllabus). It will enhance speaking and listening skills.

vii) Mother language should be completely banned in the premises of school. Strict measures should be implemented to ensure the prohibition of usage of mother language in school.
